When I first played "The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask," shortly after the game's release, I was mystified. The game featured such a strange and thrilling adventure that for months I had dreams and nightmares from it. In the years that followed, these visions of the night turned into reoccurring fantasies, and these fantasies took form as notes and even story-board concepts. Research ensued, and now I have a partner to elaborate and lead a project with, but somehow that is still not enough. With a whole cult of fandom spewing out their theories, newly released official TLOZ information, and my own creativity and experience.. I've entered the first phase of research and development, and I'm looking for others to help.

Have you ever wondered how Termina all began? According to the Official Zelda website;

"When Hyrule was created by the three goddesses at the beginning of time, there were certain side effects of its creation which Din, Nayru and Farore did not anticipate. As the three holy women breathed life into the world and chased away Emptiness, their potent breath slipped through tiny cracks in the folds of space and created millions of alternate worlds in the process. One of these worlds became the land known as Termina."

I'm hoping to write a story/manga that goes into details about the Ikana Wars, the ancient tribe that used Majora's Mask for its hexing rituals, how the mask came to be etc.. etc.. The challenge is to be as accurate with the official information as possible, such accuracy creates the foundation on which we can create new information. Hopefully, my partner and I can use every bit of the Zelda Universe to create the best possible narrative you can get for fan-fiction.
